Dr. Viviene Kerr

Dr. Viviene Kerr is the President of Caribbean Graduate School of Theology (CGST) and author of the book "It Still Takes a Village: Help for Parents in Dealing With Academic Underperformance". Prior to her appointment in June 2020, she served as the Campus Registrar and Lecturer and practiced as a Counselling Psychologist at The Counselling Centre located at CGST. She has extensive experience in Educational Leadership; having earned a Doctor of Education degree from the Nova Southeastern University. She presently lectures in the Department of Behavioural and Social Sciences at CGST. Dr Kerr has served in many senior management positions in various prominent tertiary institutions. She is an experienced Educator, Counselling Psychologist, Librarian, Administrator and Life Coach within the Education and Faith-based Community. She is skilled in Information Management, Family Life & Career Development, Health Communication, Social Psychology, Governance, Parenting and Violence Prevention. She is a strong business development professional with a passion for entrepreneurship and for helping individuals excel to their fullest potential. She is presently the Vice Chairman of the National Parent Teachers’ Association, Region 6 (St. Catherine), a former President of the Home School Association and the Parent Representative on the Board of Management of The Cedar Grove Academy.
